Terms of Service

Effective date: June 9, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Crewport Car Share (the "Platform"), operated by Crewport ("Crewport," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Liability Waiver. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. What Crewport is — and is not

Crewport is a neutral venue that helps verified airline pilots connect with one another to share personal vehicles parked at airports. Crewport is not a vehicle owner, fleet operator, for-hire transportation provider, broker, agent, dealer, or insurer. We do not own, operate, inspect, control, deliver, or maintain any vehicle, and we are not a party to any borrowing, loan, or other agreement between users. Any arrangement to share a vehicle is solely between the host and the borrower.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Platform only if you: (a) are at least 18 years old; (b) are a current pilot employed by a participating airline, verified through your work email address; (c) hold a valid driver's license; and (d) can form a binding contract. We verify a work email domain for eligibility only — we do not independently verify your employment status, identity, driving record, insurance, or fitness, and you should not assume any other user has been so verified.

3. Accounts

You register with a work email (used once to confirm eligibility) and a personal email (used for login and notifications). You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, maintain one account per person, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Host responsibilities

If you list a vehicle, you represent that you: (a) are the legal owner or are authorized to share it; (b) maintain current registration and your own valid insurance; (c) provide a vehicle that is safe, roadworthy, and legal to operate; (d) accurately describe the vehicle, its parking location, price, and any requirements (e.g., refuel, no smoking); (e) comply with all applicable airport, employer, union, and parking-facility rules; (f) are responsible for any taxes on amounts you receive; and (g) are solely responsible for verifying, before handing over your vehicle, that a borrower is a bona fide pilot in good standing — including by checking the employee number the borrower discloses at booking against your airline's seniority list. Crewport confirms only that a user controls a work email on a participating-airline domain; we do not verify employee numbers, seniority, pilot status, or employment, and you must not rely on us to do so. You set your own price; Crewport does not set, collect, or guarantee it.

5. Borrower responsibilities

If you reserve a vehicle, you agree to: (a) hold a valid driver's license and operate the vehicle lawfully and carefully; (b) follow the host's stated requirements; (c) return the vehicle on time to the agreed location and provide the requested return confirmation, including location; (d) be solely responsible for fuel, tolls, parking, tickets, fines, and traffic or other violations incurred during your use; (e) promptly report any damage, accident, or loss to the host; and (f) provide accurate identifying information, including your employee number, to the host as part of a confirmed booking.

6. Bookings

Hosts mark availability; borrowers request reservations; a booking is confirmed when the host accepts. Confirmation reveals limited information between the parties (see Privacy Policy). We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, condition, safety, or legality of any listing or vehicle. Cancellations and no-shows are governed by: Either party may cancel a booking at no charge any time before it becomes active; because the platform never handles payment, it does not process refunds — any contribution is settled directly between users..

7. Payments are directly between users

All payments are made directly between the borrower and the host using third-party services (e.g., Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Zelle). Crewport does not process, collect, hold, transfer, or guarantee any funds, does not set prices, and is not a party to, or responsible for, any payment, non-payment, refund, chargeback, or payment dispute. You use third-party payment services at your own risk and subject to their terms.

8. Membership fees

Borrowing access to the Platform requires a paid annual membership (currently US $49 per year) that automatically renews each year until you cancel, separate from any payment between users for vehicle use. Listing your own vehicle is free. We may offer promotional or free-trial periods (for example, a free first year for early members). Membership terms are disclosed at sign-up and on our pricing page.

9. No insurance; your responsibility

Crewport provides no insurance of any kind — not for vehicles, drivers, property, or injury. You are solely responsible for confirming that adequate insurance is in place and that sharing or using a vehicle this way is permitted by your insurance policy, your employer's and union's policies, and the rules of the airport and parking facility. You assume all risk arising from any vehicle, user, or arrangement on the Platform. See the Liability Waiver.

10. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to: misuse or misrepresent your identity or eligibility; use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; share access with non-eligible persons; interfere with the Platform's operation or security; or use another user's information except as needed to complete a booking.

11. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or make any representation about other users, their vehicles, or their conduct.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CREWPORT AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, THEFT, OR YOUR DEALINGS WITH OTHER USERS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE MEMBERSHIP FEES YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS OR US $100. [Some of this may be limited by your state's law — confirm with counsel.]

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crewport and its owners, officers, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your vehicle or your use of another's vehicle, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Dispute resolution

Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by American Arbitration Association (AAA) in Shelby County, Tennessee, on an individual basis. You and Crewport waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. [Include any required opt-out and notice provisions per counsel.]

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including for violation of these Terms or loss of eligibility. You may stop using the Platform at any time.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated, and continued use after changes means you accept them.
